Washing machine fixed
My Hotpoint washing machine had developed a problem - all the lights flashed and I couldn't make it start it's cycle unless I turned it on and off about 15 times at the socket. After googling the symptoms I realised that a blown capacitor was a common problem, with a YouTube guide, a soldering iron and a bit of practical know-how it could be fixed. I bought this tiny little capacitor and I'm very pleased I did because I had the machine fixed in about an hour and saved somewhere between £50 and £100 (the approximate cost of a new circuit board).

my favourite Anthrax album, good mix of tunes
I had this album on cassette when it first came out in the early 90's, it has a good mix of styles, I'm the man, Parasite, Bring the Noise - all belters
