Seems to work so far
Bought this as it was cheaper than just a new gasket for my old cap. I swapped the key cylinder for my old one (didn’t want more keys) and installed well. Haven’t flipped the tank to see if it seals perfectly, but happy so far.

Work well
Ordered these for my 1985 XJ 700. They showed up early and they do the job

Needed adjustment but worked great
1 of 1 found this helpful For my 85 xj700, the rebuild kit didn’t stop the fuel leaking. After some searching I found that the plunger wasn’t long enough to seal the fuel port. I placed the diaphragm in a 19mm socket and squeezed against the back of the plunger and the socket by about 1mil. Worked like a charm.
