An outstanding piece of engineering
1 of 1 found this helpful The detail on this model is unlike anything i've ever seen, the fact that it as countless points of articulation is just jaw dropping.
For the most part, it was an enjoyable build and was quite robust, however, that changed when i got to the legs. It had a different feel to it, almost like the legs had been designed by someone else, some of the parts had poor locating pins, one of the small parts behind the knee had a small spring that goes on it, the spring and this part both attach to a pin that is less than 1mm in diameter, as you might guess, the pin broke on both legs during the assembly process.
Likewise, the legs had a massive amount of parts & detail that felt almost unneeded, it was like they'd been told that they had to produce a model with a specific amount of parts, so were just throwing in extras to make up numbers.
That said, once finished, the model is outstanding. From a visual standpoint, my only complaint would be that the red parts which form parts of the torso should have been brighter, they're more scarlet than red.
