Better than my earlier version
I have a much earlier DMC-TZ3 from years ago. The image sensor has finally gone bad and I cannot find a replacement otherwise I would repair it. This ZS7/TZ10 is replacing the TZ3. I have not explored other cameras, and not for any good reason. I would enjoy doing so when I get some free time. Being familiar with the TZ3 prompted me to purchase the TZ10, being somewhat familiar with the features. The ZS7/TZ10 is much improved over my old model, and I have some new features to learn. I have only used it a little while so far, but I am totally pleased with the results thus far. I would buy another without reservation, though I would thoroughly enjoy exploring other manufacturers cameras.

Very pleased with this DVD player
I received one of these DVD players several years ago as a gift. It works great and is easy to operate. Purchased this one for a second television in a different room. Needless to say, I would purchase another one. : )

Gaskets are fine, but not the type I thought they were.
These gaskets are like a heavy paper material treated to be waterproof. They fit around the base of the floodlamp and rest inside the base of the lampholder housing. If you have the lights mounted where the lamps point either horizontally or downwards you will be ok, but if the lights are canted upwards, I believe the housing is still going to fill with water, shortout, and corrode the base and socket.
I thought these gaskets were the rubber/silicone boot-type that fit around the base of the floodlamp, then snapped over the lip of the lampholder housing. This would prevent any water from filling up the lampholder base when canted upwards. (Maybe they no longer make this type of gasket.) Actually, I found it necessary to also run a bead of RTV around the gasket where it meets the floodlamp. This created a totally waterproof seal, and I never worried about water entering the base shorting out the lamps.
These gaskets are ok for damp locations, but I would not rely on them to keep water out of the lampholder base. If you also drilled a drain hole in the base, you may possibly be able to keep water out.
