Sharpening stones.
I bought a 1000/4000 and a 3000/8000 grit whetstone combination. With a bit of patience, our knives have come up VERY sharp. I have sharpened 25 knives with this so far and I recommend them so long as you are patient. Then just use a sharpening steel to maintain them after that (until they need to be re-sharpened).

Replacement battery for LG robotic vacuum.
1 of 1 found this helpful I searched for a few days for a replacement battery for our LG robotic vacuum cleaner. They were in the order of $140. The original battery lasted about 5 years. I found this one in eBay and it's great. I had forgotten how long the cleaner SHOULD run on a full charge. It now runs for about an hour which is a big improvement over 8 minutes from the old one as it was dying. This appears to be a good, honest, reliable seller.

Pebble Time Round
This watch is brilliant for anyone who needs/wants discreet notifications that they have received a text message or email. It also notifies you when you are receiving a phone call. I bought it for my partner because she was missing a lot of text messages and phone calls, partly because of the ring tone on her phone and partly because of noisy backgrounds. She now receives a subtle vibration on her wrist when she is receiving incoming calls and texts. She can see who the phone call is from and choose to answer or reject it on her phone (not her watch). She can also read the text message on her watch so long as it's not a long, rambling 3 metre long text message.(Then she can read the first part and decide whether she wants to read the rest on her phone). It can be set up to also notify of emails and perhaps Facebook (etc) but we decided that those things could be checked at a later date so she doesn't get notified of those on her watch.
It is very light and very attractive (rose gold & white). Battery lasts about 2 days but she charges it every night so "going flat" hasn't been an issue.
Unless you're a technophyle who needs all the functions of an Apple Watch or Samsung, this is a great, and less expensive, compromise.
She's had it about a month now, and it has already saved her some angst because she has received 2 important text messages that she would have otherwise been oblivious to. She could respond promptly and quickly (via her phone) to rectify the problem.
I think it's great value for money and a very handy accessory to an IOS or Android smartphone.
