Happy Wife; Happy Life

Bought this for my wife and it is not the first one. She believes strongly that it aids in her health. The last ones we bought were the slim bands but she found they were a slightly smaller sizing and the bands seemed to deteriorate quickly. Prior to that, she tried the ones with the dual band and found the same problem with them. So now we are back to the normal bands. They last the longest and fit her wrist better. There is also a reasonable selection of colours meaning she is not stuck with just the one colour.

My First Blu-ray Player

Our DVD player died so it was time to upgrade. With a technophobe wife, a techfreak son and me with shallow pockets. So it had to be easy to use, good quality and not too expensive. Was a bit concerned about being a factory refurb but I couldn't see anything wrong when it arrived - especially since Auspost delivered it with their usual care and attention. Dropped it (literally) at the front door and bolted. But it works fine. The wife has already managed to successfully use it several times - so she is happy. And I only had to show her once. No problems connecting it to the home network - works fine with my Synology NAS. The picture quality is a noticeable improvement over our previous DVD player - both for Blu-ray movies and DVDs. Overall - it may not have as many features as the more expensive, "well known" brands and they may have even better picture quality but the whole family is happy with this unit. For the price; I couldn't ask for better features or quality.

I remember loving using this as a kid. Took a while to find it. Glad I did. You can get the fancy citrus fruit squeezer/press but they cost a lot more, you have to be choosy about the size of the fruit and they are nowhere near as sturdy as this one. This is rock solid, you could use it as a hammer. It is very simple and easy to use. Even easier to clean. It is great for squeezing citrus fruit. Don't have to worry if the fruit is to big or small, Just cut it to size. toss it in and press. And because it is basically just a press - two flat surfaces being pushed together - you can use it for other things as well. Haven't done it with this one, as they are out of season, but I used to also do grape juice (we had our own grapevines). Pressing grapes is a bit messier/harder to clean but it still worked like a charm. The only possible downside is the size/shape and trying to store it.
