Bridget Jones's Diary
This movie is easy to relate to because most women have a little bit of "Bridget" in them. You will laugh, cry, get mad, laugh, and cry again. I guarantee it!! Bridget is somewhat overweight compared to the standards in England and she has the hardest time finding the "right man". She hooks up with this dog Daniel Cleaver when we all want her with Mark Darcy. I think we all want a "Mark Darcy" in our lives when in fact most of us have a "Daniel Cleaver." If you are a sap when it comes to romantic comedies this movie is for you and with an exceptional cast and you really feel like you are right there with them. 10+ stars on the rating scale. I thought it wasw somewhat strange!
3 of 3 found this helpful This book was recommended to me by my Health Advisor for the weight loss program I am on. Now that I am reading it I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!! It is such an awesome book. It has helped me tremendously. He is VERY inspirational. I only bought it because it was recommended and now I am recommending it to others and I tell them to look on e-bay because I got mine there. It is a MUST READ for everyone. Although I thought the title was strange after reading it the title makes perfect sense. We ALL have a giant within us and it is called "the power to make decisions". Even though that is only a paraphrase it is very true to his message and so much more.

Love it!!
I love this book! It has so many old time recipes. If you are a baker or a novice this book is perfect. The recipes are very well explained. I have already marked 15 or 20 that I intend to fix. The only downside to this book is the "old time" words like beef suet and mace. I had no idea what they were but thank goodness for the internet. With all the technology today there is no reason why you could not find the ingredients in this book. I did. By the way mace is a lot like nutmeg and beef suet is the fat scraped from inside the stomach lining. There is a watermelon cake in here that sounds so fun to make. It’s not really watermelon but made to look like one. I would give this book 2 thumbs up all the way. If you are real modern and not really into the "old time" recipes you may not like it but I really think you should give this book a try. Happy baking!! ;0)
