Necessary, but I"ve seen better.
1 of 1 found this helpful I'm a huge Star Trek fan and have come to expect a certain quality for Star Trek episodes (as good a quality as you can get for a corny sci-fi series), but this season was lacking. Seasons 4, 5, and 7 were much better and contained many episodes that I can watch over and over again. Season 6, eventhough it provided for further character and plot development contained many slow and fairly boring episodes. The attempt to bring in even more new characters (in this case, a group of borg children) proved to be a little too "cute" for Star Trek. All in all, I would say that Season 6 is not much more than a necessary stepping stone to get you to Season 7, which has some awesome episodes and contains one of the best Star Trek series finales I have ever seen!
