Short use period, good so far.

I've only had this used Ivy bridge i5 installed for a couple of weeks, its working good. I'm generally happy with this upgrade over my i5 2300. The one game I've played on the new CPU Hitman 2016, did experience crashing after the CPU swap in population dense areas of the Paris map, this crashing was resolved after making some tweaks to the game's startup options. While not related to the processor, I did run into some difficulty upgrading the BIOS on my MSI Sandy Bridge motherboard to the Ivy Bridge compatible version. Decent 8th gen i-series mobo.

H370 is solid mix of pcie lanes for GPU, NVME/M.2, and accessories. 4 dimm slots good for expansion. Internal headers are nicely laid out. Rear USB-C is nice to have. 6x USB3/2 type A is enough, but another pair on the rear would've been better.
