great synthesizer, accurate output despite being made in 1988
HP products are always reliable. The synthesizer was in great shape, frequency output was accurate, couldn't ask for more.

Great power supply
Great power supply. negative supply is great for amp and biasing gates. The dial control is easy to use.

The software ruins what could be a great economical scope
Title says it all. Bought it, hooked it up to my function generator, put it back in the box 2 hours later. The scope constantly ties to automatically adjust settings. Turning the time base, voltage scale, and trigger level knobs doesn't always do anything. Simply trying to adjust the cursors can be a pain, there are points where the cursors simply won't move. Given it's keysight, i'm sure the hardware inside the tool is great, however, the software renders the scope unusable in my opinion. This coming from someone with decades of experience using scopes from all all the brand names.
