While this blade May be for cosplay/display, it is by no means a toy. At 4-5 pounds overall weight, it can be considered as a valid entertainment training sword.
With reasonable care it should last a lifetime.
Rest assured, trying to spar with an opponent using this may well cause someone serious damage, especially when untrained.
