Good quality (so far), fits the HDX sponge mop that I have, includes the small scrub pad, fastens well
It actually fit my HDX sponge mop, tightened on successfully, and came with the small scrubber pad that affixes in a velcro-style way to a place on the front of the mop base. My main feeling is that sponge replacements should not cost almost as much as the original mop, my gut feel is that plastic and sponge should not intrinsically cost that much, but maybe I don't know. I'd like to see it for half as much in a local store. Replacement parts have always been a high margin business, unfortunately. But the shipping was free and I think no one makes this mop anymore, so it is great that these sponges are still available. I'll probably buy a few more before they disappear. The HDX mop is the only one I've found that wrings out the water well and is easy to operate. It is a shame you can't find them now. It's not perfect -- the end handle grip split and I duct taped it on. The small scrub pad, while highly useful, doesn't really stay put the way it is attached, relying on a bed of gnarled plastic hooks on the mop base to snag the fibers in the pad - so it can fall off. But it's good to have for caked on spots, like dripped food.
