A really useful reference source for those interested in older jewellery
A compact and handy way of accessing books otherwise not readily available. Obviously it depends on what you want to access these books for, but they certainly seem to cover a lot of bases. If you want something as an idle browse through pictures of lovely things you could only ever dream of, then this is NOT for you - images and pictures are limited The majority of these are not 'coffee-table' books; they are written works. I purchased as an amateur collector of (very small) pieces of antique jewellery, wanting to know more about the history of diamond cuts, the mines, gem sources, and fashions in jewellery design. You can't get better than to look at books that were written at the time. The scanned books range from Victorian-era whimsical gushing about Mother Nature's bounty in giving us pretty stones, through to more dry descriptions of the founding of mining industry in South Africa, etc. A great reference source.

Clumps well, no smell.
It clumps neatly, making it easy to scoop out of the litter tray, and there is almost no smell at all, so having a litter tray in the house is discreet.

Decent quality at a good price
I paid £8 for the sizing stick and sizing gauge, and wasn't expecting great stuff, but was pleasantly surprised when these arrived. The gauge is robust and feels substantial - it's not going to fall apart after a few times used, and I get the feeling that it can get chucked into and out of a drawer like a bunch of keys quite happily for a long time. There's nothing fancy about it, but it doesn't feel cheap. Similarly, the measuring stick has the feel of decent quality about it. It's quite heavy (not the flimsy lightweight stick I was expecting) and appears to be precision-cut on a lathe. The only note of caution is that, due to the way it's been made, you need to be careful when sliding on a ring for measuring. The finish to the metal is very slightly rough which might scratch the inside of a ring (especially softer 18ct and 22ct gold) if you're slap-dash and careless. It's a very small drawback, however, and don't let that put you off. Overall, very nice stuff, suitable for the amateur jewellery fan or small business-holder alike.
