Fits the Bill Perfectly

Good for Stargazing
Bought these for viewing the night sky, thinking I might be able to use them hand-held. This has not proved to be practical, so I would recommend mounting on a tripod. Given this, I may have been better off with a 15x70 pair. Generous eye relief but I found the stiff rubber eyecups to be uncomfortable and would have preferred soft rubber or twist-out ones. Not so good for terrestrial viewing as there is quite pronounced colour fringing, not noticeable at night.
To sum up, I would not recommend these for day use but they are adequate for astronomical use, having decent magnification yet not too big and heavy. I would recommend using a tripod unless you have very steady hands.
