1965 book with much information
There's a tremendous amount of raw data in here with many sources cited, and it has a good index which really will help you. This is very good for drawing deductions. Still good, and there's some lost information here.
This is written in a very easy to read manner, and as I said, you really need to use this with the index.
Don't get the later revised 1981 edition which had a few unnecessary precautions like about Vitamin A (which yes can be dangerous but it's very hard to do that and Tylenol is much more dangerous)

This camera is just good enough and valuable for it's price.
Although this camera is approximately vintage 2004 (the date defaults to January 1, 2004) it is possibly the one of teh best choices and very versatile.
It has reached the level in megapixels where you can take very good still pictures (but the motion pictures are not very good quality) It tends to break in one way or another - the LED - the battery compartment - the color balance - but is worth it for its price (compared to later generation cameras which wehn they break cost you lots of money. Right now replacements can be bought relatively cheaply.
It takes a while to learn. The instruction booklet if you get it is not fully self-explanatory.
Some important things to note:
It can record sound in movie mode. The Museum mode will let you avoid a flash, which may be pretty important if you don't want to use alkaline batteries pretty fast. You can keep the shutter opressed down and it will pick the best of 10 and 70% of the time or more it is the best. Night Landscape is probably better than dust dawn except mayeb when you are takling a opictuyre of a sunset. This has both optical and digital zoom. If you insert a 2 gigabyte SD card (the largest it can take) it can take an enormous number of pictures at one time or over the course of a trip. And I mean well over a thousand. A few pictures can be stored in memory. You get them out of memory by going to a 3rd page in a menu.

They break, but are worth getting because they are the right size & R cheap
1 of 1 found this helpful I like these calculators. They fit in my pocket. They have all the basic calculations, including a % key, square root and reciprocal (which is gotten by hitting the divide key followed by the equal key)
They break, and can get lost, but they are cheap.
