The Quiet Hero by Gary W. Toyn
1 of 1 found this helpful A very interesting read. The book is very inspiring and should be read by all Americans. It brought the battle for Iwo Jima alive. I highly recommend this book for not just those interested in our nations history, but for everyone.

The Road to Arnhem - a fascinating book.
The author, Donald R. Burgett, a member of the 101st Airborne during WE II, shares his memories and experiences. His writing is great and you feel like you are there with him. He wrote four books in order of his time in the war and each one is amazing. I highly recommend any or all four for history buffs.
