Cute & Fun!
Very cute item! Better than expected! Colorful & fun, the eyes light up which my granddaughter loves! The eyes are sewn on so it’s appropriate for smaller children but the antennas (also sewn into the alien) seem like a strong child might be able to rip them off so just watch the little ones! Very happy with purchase and may buy another in a different pattern!

Fascinating & Compelling New England Story of Tragedy & Survival
New England Remembers The Hurricane of 1938 is a compelling & fascinating account of both tragedy & survival. This amazing story is told through not only factual information but personal recollections & exerpts of survivors in vivid detail. The author, Aram Goudsouzian, has painted such a richly detailed narrative of the happenings of September 21, 1938, it's difficult to imagine how people managed to survive such a cataclysmic occurrence. I would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in this event which is very overlooked in New England history.

John Adams Simply Fantastic Mini Series DVD
1 of 1 found this helpful I recently purchased the John Adams HBO mini series on DVD for my mother. I had watched the series when it originally aired and LOVED it. I told my mom about it and we even made the trip down to Quincy MA to see the John Adams House (well worth the trip!). I wanted her to be able to see the series for herself and buying it on ebay was quite the bargain! We have watched 2 of the 3 DVDs so far and it is simply fantastic. I highly recommend this series (for adults and older teens) because it is an amazing and little known story that is a huge part of American history. ENJOY!
