Awesome product for $, but thin on bass when outside.
2 of 2 found this helpful Speakers are typical Bose with respect to look and clarity, but due to their size they are thin when it comes to bass. Since I couldn't fit the 251s that had a better, fuller sound, I supplemented with Freespace 51s. The combo gives a great, full sound throughout the pool and deck area with the 151s providing the high end and the 51s filling in the bass. The 51s are hidden in flower beds and the 151s fit nicely under the house overhangs.

If you only buy one set, go with the 51/360Ps for a full range of sound.
I combined a set of Bose 151 and Bose Freespace 51/360Ps in my patio and pool area. The sound and coverage are great. Most speakers I listened to delivered the sound with very little quality or bass, but combining these two really filled out the space with the clarity of the 151s mounted on the house near seating and the 51/360Ps providing bass and coverage in the flower beds away from the house. Bose 251 could work well solo. They were just bigger than the 151s and didn't fit for my install.
