absolutely great. I have several external hard drives and if you leave them conected with an ordinary Hub it slows down loading / reloading and it often "decides" to interupt you to see if you want it scanned. They alos take a while to load up. But with this Hub you can leave them all connected and have them switched off until you need them. Then you can independently switch them on and they load up instantly, the upload speed being boosted by the power.
