10-19 Toyota 4Runner Roof Rack Cross Bar OEM PT278-89170

Didn't fit well on my 2019 4runner SR5 Premium :(

I don't know what year vehicle other reviewers have, but this came in parts with no instructions on how to assemble the parts. I THINK I put them together correctly but considering I couldn't get them to fit maybe not. ?? there is no reference. These are not OEM as the OEMs use hex nuts to attach the end pieces to the bars, these use standard bolts. On the underside so you can't get to them once the bars are on. SO if you didn't get the bars and ends to the exact length required, it's impossible to adjust after install. SO I TRIED to put them on using a youtube video for instructions and the video shows OEM crossbars and VOILA they went right on. These did not fit my 2019 4Runner SR5 Premium. I was pushing and shoving the bars they would not slide freely through the track of the roof rail. ??? I'll keep looking but it seems that the 2019 roof rails have a smaller groove and these things fit so tight I tried bashing them in with a rubber mallet and then I thought that probably was a bad idea and took them off again to wrestle another day...they still aren't installed and I'm wondering if they'll ever fit correctly.
