best band i never heard befor
first time i played this i knew i found something great. on its second play i began thinking this was the best cd i ever heard in my life. this thought remains after about thirty plays. only time will tell if i feel its truely great. my brother heard it and agreed this was something good. alternitive rock would be RADIO GODS genre. vocals are strong. songwriting very good. the recording and mix is excellent. but its the hot playing that really shines. check it out, this is a real gem.

good fun music!
0 of 1 found this helpful i really enjoy this album over and over because it makes me get out of the chair, and i want to move to the beat! even though inconsistant, the ones that shine, do it brightly. the slow, "boring" songs i just skip through. i pretend they dont even exist, their so bad. the previous no doubt albums i feel are more consistant as far as songs that i like. thats it, though, i just "like" most of those songs and albums. this work has some "awsome" songs, very well done. a must have for any rock collection that includes modern music of the eighties or nineties. way better than most of the crap music released the same year, 2001.

kiss was the glam rock band
i remember getting this album when it was released. i was 10 years old. kiss was my favorite band when i was a kid. i must have outgrown them in the time apart. this is the first kiss album i've played front to back in twenty years! its still a good album. the brightist gem is detroit rock city, a song with a bass line that is second to none. gene simmons on bass can really play. this song always gets me on my feet moving. unfortunatly, none of the rest can live up to this one except maybe the ballad beth. this piano and string hit still gets airplay today. the rest is good-but nothing very special.
