A fine CD Player that plays movies!
'CD Mode' sets this Yamaha Bly-ray player apart from all its competition at this price point. It allows you to play CDs without CEC control switching your TV on. Sound quality is very good. Remote is luxuriously sized compared with others. It also has a media player with a basic media interface and app control with a nice interface. And it's a decent 'thing' - okay it costs 3 times as much as other blu-ray players - but it has steel and aluminium where racks have plastic, it has weight and, with 2years warranty, I feel like I will see many years of service from this machine.years

Extraordinary Compact Speakers
Solid performers that reveal a wealth of musical detail, Vienna Acoustics' Haydn Grand SE compete comfortably with speakers costing up to twice their retail price. Ideally suited to medium to high powered amplifiers - but I've even run them on a 12w valve amp - the Haydn impresses with a tuneful performance, prodigious bass from its horn-loaded front-firing port, and innate ability to untangle heavy mixes and even poorly recorded music.

Same fit and finish as all back-catalogue black Yamaha Natural Sound amplifiers and receivers so the NPS303 is a perfect fit. 24bit/192kHz DACs sound superb. MusicCast functions share sound with other devices in the home. Ripper!
