Better than expected
Let me preface this by saying I am an old school video editor who started using tapes while editing. ( Dang I feel old now)
VCR was much better condition than expected. Playback is normal, and this model has some nice controls on a drop down door.
Only 2 issues ( small ones) One of the feet on the bottom broke during shipping, and the Cassette door doesn't open on eject. Since I am only using it to digitize tapes it's not that big of a deal. I just held the door open with a letter opener and all is well.

Low end VCR- But delievers as promised
While the VCR was delivered exactly as promised, this model has an annoying "feature" of displaying on screen tracking and timecodes at the start. Without the remote I have been unable so far to disable this. But as I said, the unit was delivered exactly as promised. I am digitizing years of vhs and vhs-c footage so it is all I need.
