excellent resource
I bought this book as a supplement to a graduate class in adv. ed. psych. It has been helpful in refreshing my memory about what I learned in my undergrad work. The book has case studies, examples from real life of how the theories can be explained and it's in reader-friendly terms. I haven't looked at the CD yet. I would strongly recommend this as a resource to teacher education students or those returning to grad school after many years away. One thing I don't like about the book is that it's large and heavy. Since it's paperback, it is floppy when carried around. The front and back cover need to be made of sturdier paper. My rating is based on the content of the book - what I bought it for - and not on physical characteristics.
