The best version of Scrabble
The bigger board and roughly double the letters, provides a game that is more based on skill over luck, which tends to even out as the larger game is played. The raised plastic letter holders prevent the tendency of the letters to "wander" over a cardboard board when it gets filled up, holding the letters in place and even allowing the board to rotate on ball bearings on a hard play surface.
For some reason, the original manufacturer stopped making Super Scrabble, so the used versions are the best one can get.
When the plastic hinge on my previous board broke - one of the fe design defects in the folding board - I had to buy the entire used version just to replace that board, since it's unavailable from the original manufacturer (I tried). I kept the rest of the setup alongside my old game in the same box and threw away the duplicate box.
