Save your money and buy the splice kit.
The concept makes sense but the quality is poor. The terminals pull out. Also doesn’t feel solid and secure; the wires do not seat well in the forks.

Perfect Fit. Great Quality. Saves Time.
I see a lot of different retrofit kits available but this one is the best one I’ve worked with. The edge bend easily to what size you need unlike other brands. I also like the horizontal slots so you can adjust where it is mounted. The middle bracket is the best one as many other brands offer two separate brackets instead of one which makes it someone difficult to line up. This bracket is very easy to install. I would give it 5/5 stars but I had to modify the middle plate 1/4” turn clip slot on one side to make it a longer slot as my ballast covers would be slightly shorter than the precut slot.

Best LED bulb for my needs!
These are my favorite light bulbs. They are inexpensive; kelvin temp (4000k) is exactly what I need and the lumen output is just right for my application. I have had the bulbs installed for about 3 months with a average use of 8 hours a day; so far no complaints. The feature that makes me like these is the 4000k bulb with the high lumen. I can't find this type of bulb anywhere else for the price. I will continue to buy these bulbs for my needs!
