Nova Delay
I think this is one of the best delay pedals out there. The flexibility and control over your delay is great. I recognize that some other units may give you strange sounds and more delay types but I find those to be pretty useless. This unit has everything I could ask for. The only thing I would change is a built in auxiliary footswitch input and more subdivision options. I would like the option of plugging in an external switch to control the presets and maybe tap tempo. This can be done buy some one that mods pedals but having it built in would be better. I like all of the subdivision options on the BOSS DD-20 but the other features of the Nova Delay made it the choice for me. I primarily play in a church band and on my own creating ambient/instrumental music. This pedal is very helpful in both situations.

Ortofon OM 5 E MM Moving Magnet Cartridge
22 September 2017
Not for me
I was upgrading from a very introductory or low quality cartridge and while I could tell that there were improvements with things like inner groove distortion, the sound of this cartridge is not for me. In my setup, I tried two different phono stages with this cartridge. With the one, I was experiencing a lot of sibilance distortion and sometimes just high mid distortion. I moved to a different phono stage, the one in my vintage amp, and the distortion in the high mid frequencies went away. Once the distortion wasn't an issue, it became very hard to control the bass frequencies. Instead of feeling solid and anchoring the sound, they were overwhelming and harsh. The emphasis seams to be not on really low end but on mid bass (100-125hz). After listing to it for a little over a week with speakers and headphones, I decided that I just couldn't get passed these quirks and decided to go back to my other cartridge while waiting for a Grado Black to come in.

Great ventilation fan
I have three 120mm fans from AC Infinity in our chicken coop to keep it cool in the summer. This one is an exhaust and I also have two low speed fans as intakes. This balances out the low speed fans well. I took off one star because it’s a little loud. A “medium speed” option would be a great middle ground between this and the low speed models. If you need to move a good bit of air, this fan is awesome.
