Good IF the electronics work...

I had used one of these, and it lasted about a year at work (airport ramp). Which is twice as long as a fancier set I tried afterwards. But in this new pair, the electronics did not work. Must have been a bad connection somewhere, I verified that the voltage from the batteries reached the electronic circuit.

Stylish, Diver-ish Beater Watch

Didn't expect a whole lot from this watch, but it has it where it counts. The bracelet is nicely finished and does not feel cheap, but is a little shorter than usual - with my 7.25 inch wrist I normally have to take out 3 links, and from this bracelet I only had to remove 1. I did remove 2 at first and it worked, but then I would have had no adjustment room for hotter days. There are enough adjustment holes on the clasp. Sure, it's not a luxury bracelet, but better than expected. The watch itself is also quite decent. I like its style, and everything works as expected. The 60-click counter-rotating bezel grips well and moves easily - maybe just a little too easily, but it lines up well in the end. The bezel's green color is a forest green, it does not jump out at you, but creates a nice, subtle effect. The lume on the dial is surprisingly good, the date magnifier works well. My only annoyance is that the second hand does not line up at all with the markers, but since I don't require total precision, I can live with that. The movement is quite accurate, no complaints there. The watch's slightly smaller size and narrower bracelet result in a fairly low weight on your wrist, so it wears comfortably. One star withheld for the second hand not lining up properly. Otherwise, this watch with its unique style is easy on the eye, and a great value.
