Poor quality late 80’s vinyl...buy the CD or wait for a remastered version...
Some of the vinyl records pressed in the late 1980’s were just inferior quality to the ones prior to to introduction of Compact Disc. I sometimes wonder if this was a big marketing scheme to move people away from records. This is no exception. An analog recording that should explode off of the record falls flat and even distorted at times. The Compact Disc is far superior for this release. A remaster 180g version of this on vinyl is desperately needed, but I seriously doubt we’ll see it any time soon. If you’re considering it for sound, go with the Compact Disc. If you’re a serious collector, look for it cheap, because after the first listen, you’ll never pull it out again except to look at the cover. It is NOT at all audiophile quality...

It's OK. But Spend a little money and move up to the street cube!
I was trying to decide between this and the street cube so I bought them both. This is more like a toy compared to the street cube. Yes, it's loud, But The tone quality just isn't there. I have owned many Roland products and for the most part they are pretty good quality. This will make a good practice amp for just sitting around goofing off, but I'll use the street cube when it's time to get down to business. If money is a concern then go ahead and buy it however if money is not a concern go ahead and buy the street cube. It is however far superior to the other mini amps in this category. 5 watts or,less, and 2 five inch speakers that do put out a fair stereo effect. The street cube has 2 six inch speakers and better stereo. This has kind of a cheaper plastic feel to it. The street cube feels bulletproof.
