If you need a bargain costume - then this is for you
The okay stuff:
This costume was supposed to be an attempt to get a red coat for a Captain Hook costume. The coat is cheap felt but holds up for one possibly two wears. The jabot, or ruffled white collar, is a single piece of material (think simple ascot) and not nearly as ornate as shown. The belt could not hold my pirate gun and sword but was wide enough to cover up a regular belt underneath.
The disappointing stuff:
The hat is another matter. It is not solid or formed at all. It came flat in the packaging and I am not sure what to do with it. I had to find a different tricot hat for the costume.
