Wish I'd have done this sooner.
It just so happens that my walls are a sunshine yellow, so this blended easily. I think it would be paintable. This locks down internally for safety or foul weather. Installation is easy and is MUCH more attractive than ALL similar products. My title says it all. I have 4 yorkies who never seem to "go outside" at the same time. Sure saves time. They're happy and so am I.

Will use these often and forever.
This item is GREAT!!! I could spend hours just reading, but it is very easy to find a specific answer. There are sometimes several functional and inexpensive solutions. Product is WELL worth 4X its cost.

Just so-so
The item isn't any better than the sharpeners included with knives. Wouldn't even sharpen my Rapala knives. Plastic painted like stainless steel. Beats nothing, I guess.
