Actual Dimensions of Pad Pins that attach to Running Board or Nerf Bars
1 of 1 found this helpful The actual Dimensions of this pad are 21" Long by 3 1/4" wide. They do fit a variety of Running Boards or Nerf Bars.
Mine was an unknown brand and these fit perfectly on my truck. There are 5 pins along the bottom which attach to the running boards. These pins go in the clips that are in the holes drilled in the running boards. I would suggest to replace the clips at the same time. You can pry the old clips out (Screwdriver & Needle Nose Pliers). The measurements between the pins are as follows. From the Center Pin to the Center of the Pin going Left is 6 1/2". From the Center of that Pin, to the Center of the Left End Pin is 3 5/8". From the Center Pin to the Center of the Pin going Right is 5 5/8". From the Center of that Pin, to the Center of the Right End Pin is 3 5/8".
Very easy to install, I just removed the old clips, pushed the new clips in, and tapped the pads into place with a soft mallet.

Good for light duty application I suppose.
This works well for light duty brooms, but not for rakes, shovels, or anything other than a very light broomstick. Needed something for yard tools, doesn't hold them in place. They slide right through.
