6/25/2023 - I am willing to work with all customers and I back up every item I sell 100%. Trustworthy and in my 60's. Too old for any BS. I worked in security for 40 years and just about to retire. So I am liquidating some stuff
I accept personal checks, cash and Venmo. I do not access Zelle (not safe and you should delete it if you have it) If you have a question about something and want to talk, I am available by phone if needed. If I am selling an item of value, I like to use FedEx or UPS. Under a $100 its the post office unless you have any preference of carrier, let me know.. The ultimate decision of carrier is on the buyer.

Certified Alarm Installer Review

I have been in this business for 34 years. I have installed this at my house because I don't sell anything before testing it out for a good six months or so first. The keypad first of all is physically appealing. Modern and multi functional. However, it is very pricey, even for me being a dealer but it is a solid piece of equipment.
All the things I like:
Built in WiFi and Z-wave and it works well. Reconnects with my router no problem after a power outages. A huge plus. The scene programmed into the unit for my lights work very well. For example, I have all my lights turn on in the event of alarm activation. Pretty nice as you might be running into an intruder in the middle of the night. It has z-wave thermostat controls that you can adjust, say the basement, without going to the thermostat. You don't need Total Connect interactive services for z-wave to work inside your home or to lock your doors after the exit delay expires. The menu also has a cleaning feature where the screen can be deactivated for 1 minute while you wipe off finger prints and clean the surface. Back-light feature can be programmed to stay on or time out after a predetermine amount of time. For a business purposes, you can opt the keypad not to display whether its arm or disarmed.
You can view your cameras on your network and pictures stored from a micro SD card. It has a built in short tutorial video built in for those that have no idea where to start. You can view your zones and bypass them without knowing the zone number if the alpha descriptions are programmed. A cool feature is the current weather is on the keypad and you can get your 5 day forecast just by touching on the icon. For multi-partitions, its great to go into a different partition at a touch. It has a reprogrammed voice commands that work well but you have to tweek it.
Now the things I don't like. In order to get to the virtual keypad you hit security - more options - console mode... just to take you to the keypad. The other one is the cameras. It only will accept the Honeywell cameras and one or two other brand of camera that is no longer in production. It only allows a minimum amount of data stream, like 260 pixels or some very low number. It does have a discovery camera option, though through your WiFi. I tried to use it. It discovered my HP printer but not my Axis camera. To me, if you have another brand of IP cameras, the keypad at least can be accommodating to other brands. Just another corporate "you have to buy my product" feature I hate.
Learning the ZWave technology for lights and controls are cumbersome and clunky. One real issue is that learning a zwave device into the unit. It will learn it but not all the way, Device says "no device found" but it learned the device number but not any of it's control parameters. You can try learning the device again but it will not take. After hours and pain staking choice words, the trick is to remove all learned devices and to start over again. After about 5 tries, it may learn in the device. Horrible!
An expensive keypad but does a multitude of options at a premium cost. However, the technology of Honeywell is rooted back to the Ademco days. With so many option out there, there are better choices. After 10 years of writing this review, Honeywell refuses to wipe the slate clean and go with something less clumsy.
