Superb steel!
If you haven't heard of these knives, you will want one. They are a simple but effective design, if you want one really badly but can't afford this model? You could end up like me, I purchased the Aus8, then the San Mai lll version, next was SRK steel then finally the 3V version!
Just save for the 3V model first and save a bit(lot) of cash. These knives have one of the best grips, out of all the knives I own. Knife is near indestructible and it will last a lifetime.
I have more expensive knives but I drag these out and I remember why I regard them so highly.
Best sum it up with 'extremely functional '!

Lightweight in a good way
This knife feels great in hand, it's lighter than I expected. It's finish is faultless, the sheath is very well made (as all of my Italian knives have awesome sheathes). Grip is comfortable in my size L hand.

Good caps.
I like these inexpensive caps, atacs make these perfect as they don't show dirt!
