Hemmings: reliable as always
The Hemmings series is always a safe bet, whether a fan of the marque spotlit on not. Drawing from reviews published in the former SIA (one of THE best old car magazines in this writer's opinion and not well replaced by Hemmings Classic Cars, though I am a charter and continuing subscriber), with several nice color plates always included, these books are readable, well illustrated with B&W photos, and often have interesting comparisons with the competition of the time. More than worthwhile, and if you can find one at a bargain price, the slim volumes make good reading - a different take than Brooklands and a good one.

Whether this is a second or has been washed IDK, but seller's response when given a chance to take back the item was an implication of 'blackmail' so potential purchasers might take that as an indication of how valued your patronage is.
