Genuine OEM WB08X10012 GE Kenmore Microwave Oven Light Bulb and Base Assembly

GE didn't intend for the consumer to change their own light bulb

The light bulb that came with my new microwave only lasted 2 years. It cannot be changed from inside the microwave. We had to pull the microwave out, unscrew the cover(including star screws that require a special screwdriver), take the bulb to 3 stores and call several more only to find out that no one in town carries this special bulb! So we found it here on Ebay. The bulb arrived in about a week and works perfectly but was expensive due to the special design. I don't understand why GE designed this bulb and microwave to be so difficult to change!

Regrows hair, just as it says!
