Good quality

I always have liked instrumental music, thats a real test of how a band can perform. Vocals and lyrics are not forbidden so to speak, but many times lyrics are so boring and empty. Often there is really nothing to say. But this music is top quality, you can tell that the players know each other well. I play in a band myself, so I think I know a little what Im talking about. Anyway, this cd is really beautiful, good time music that you can play at home, in the car, in the swimming pool etc etc etc.

Back to the roots

One of the first irish bands to use different music instruments in folk (the bouzouki for example) Lots of bands that came later have listened carefully to Sweeney's Men, like Planxty or the Bothy Band. A unique sound!

great guitar!

There is no finer guitar player in the world! Superior technique, great rythm, fine feeling! And he also writes his own compositions, besides the usual standard repertoire.
