10PCS GU24 to E27/E26 LED Light Bulb Lamp Holder Adapter Socket Converter AB

Great product
These GU24 to E26/E27 socket adapters are very well made. I bought 20 of them to use throughout my house and every one fits the GU24 fixture perfectly. Edison screw base bulbs thread in snugly and make good electrical contact. I only lost about 3/8 of an inch (1 cm) of depth in each fixture, so the same size bulbs still fit. In short, these are good quality and they work well.

Good quality tool for little money
I've only had this tool a short time and I've only made a few crimps so I don't know how it will hold up to heavy use, but first impressions are good. It's constructed of heavy gauge steel and feels well built. The ratcheting action is smooth and the mechanism does a good job compounding force so it's easy to squeeze. The dies have small ridges in them that impress into the ferrule, ensuring a secure hold on the wire.
I have just two minor worries:
1. Given how easy it is to close, I'm not sure if the dies crush down hard enough to form a gas-tight seal on the wire (this is important to prevent corrosion inside the crimp that leads to increased resistance across the joint over time). I would have to cross-section several finished crimps of various sizes to be sure, which I haven't done.
2. I've had cheap tools before that had plastic handle covers that deteriorated, cracked and fell off. These handles feel solid and securely attached, but only time will tell.
Overall, this crimping tool is definitely worth the price. It's not a production tool for industrial use, but it's definitely a good quality item that's handy for home shops and hobbyists. I have no regrets.

Genuine Panasonic cell, not a relabeled fake!
11 of 11 found this helpful The cell that I received appears to be a genuine Panasonic NCR18650B. Note, however, that the *rated* capacity according to the Panasonic datasheet (see below) is 3,200mAh, not 3,400mAh as stated in some listings.
I charged the cell using a lab power supply at a 0.5C rate (1.625A) at constant current until it reached 4.2V, then continued charging at a constant 4.2V until charge current fell to 65mA. After allowing the cell to rest for one hour, I discharged it using a DC electronic load under computer control. Discharge was at a 1C rate (3.25A) to a 2.5V cutoff. These charge and discharge values were taken directly from the datasheet. Voltage was measured *at the cell* throughout charging and discharging.
The final result was a measured capacity of 3,246mAh. This value is exactly what you would expect to see, given that I was unable to maintain cell temperature at 20 deg C throughout the test. It got slightly warm during discharge, which lowers recoverable capacity in Li-Ion cells. See the "Discharge Characteristics (by temperature)" graph on the datasheet.
