Plastruct ladder, large scale
I’m modeling a freelance American narrow gauge railroad in 7/8th scale. ‘G’ gauge track, 45mm width, scales out to two feet in this scale. Structures and rolling stock are all scratch built. Plastruct’s large scale ladder is a quick and easy to use product that makes finished models look more complete. The ladder is easy to cut to length, readily adheres to surfaces with super glue, and takes paint well.

LGB American 4 wheel passenger trucks.
Typical of quality expected from LGB. Add wheels and couplers and they are ready to roll. Made for LGB’s American style passenger cars from the late 1800s to early 1900s. Suitable for scratch built rolling stock.

Impressive 40mm anti-aircraft gun model.
This is a model from the 12” G. I. Joe range of toys. It is, at least when comparing it to photos of the real gun, an accurate representation of a twin barrel, 40 mm, Bofors anti-aircraft gun. These were used extensively by both the U.S. Navy and the Royal Navy in WWII. The size and details of the model are impressive. I have no plans of ‘playing’ with it, but for kids playing with it, it does appear to be well built. This will be a display piece in my artillery model collection.
