Mac Pro is at the top of the heap
2 of 2 found this helpful Finally made my long overdue upgrade from an ancient G5 to Mac Pro and couldn't be happier. I run a professional recording studio, and my Mac is the center of my music composing, which is very demanding on a computer. Apple prices have always been outrageous, but their reliability somewhat justifies the price. Took a chance with a used model, and so far, so good. Everything is running perfectly, and the speed is like a drug. Looking forward to making lots of great music on this system—with less frustration—for years to come.

Great for the price
I shopped around, and for the price it's impossible to beat. Obviously this isn't high-end construction, but if it holds up under the rigors of transport and use for any length of time, it will be a steal.
