Worthwhile upgrade
Having upgraded my camera body from a Nikon D40 to a D7000, I felt that the weakest link was then the 18-55mm kit lens. I did some research and decided this lens was worth a try. It was (relatively) cheap, wasn't too big or too heavy and had a reasonable zoom range. I am very pleased with the images I have captured so far and I'm positive that they are much sharper and crisper than with the kit lens. It would have been nice to have had a larger and constant maximum aperture but with so far it hasn't caused me any great problems. Overall, a worthwhile upgrade.

Good kit, but needs patience!
I enjoyed making up this kit, but I did have some problems especially with the wheels and getting the alignment of them all correct. Otherwise, it was the typical high quality expected of Tamiya. I liked the included figures which really help in a diorama.

Probably OK for many, but not really right for me
I may have ordered the wrong product type, but it seems to need a lot of thinning and then the coverage isn't as good as I expected. I think I'll stick to Tamiya paints in the future.
