  Seller said: will have it shipped next day when I bought this. Shipping label was generated and status was awaiting package arrival at postal facility and was apparently never shipped after a week. So I requested to cancel order. Seller compiled with my request no questions asked. Not to sure what happened but eBay still wants me to review this item. I'm sure they just forgot or something you know how buy it now listing go. Could have been listed for months who knows.

The shipping for this item went wildly sideways, but he (or she?) calmed my jitters, went to extraordinary lengths, and made sure that my book arrived safely at my doorstep. In a time when, sadly, one gets nervous about so many eBay "take-the-money-and-run" sellers, here's a case where the seller took personal responsibility for a tricky delivery challenge and used and amazing behind-the-scenes efforts to get a superb outcome.
