Sharktooth Weed Puller
1- Dirt fills the cavities between the serrated teeth quickly and the weed puller then becomes like a regular pair of pliers.
2- When the ground is dry and hard, the roots remain in the ground and the stem breaks off, leaving the roots in the ground.
3- When the ground is wet or moist, dirt quickly fills the as between the serrations of the weed puller, making the serrations ineffective. It then become a regular pair of pliers and it is difficult to remove the dirt out of the cavities between the serrations to restore the effectiveness of the serrations.
It was a good idea but does not work out well in practice.
