Unusual product, unusual uses, really nice product.
Not using it as an antispetiic product. But if you want to think outside of the box, it is amazing for polishing acrylic and plastics, and for cleaning paint and glue off. For this, it is sensational.

5 of 7 found this helpful The Vostok Amfibia is a great clone of all the workhorse automatics of the 70's and 80's. Big slab of stainless, chunky rotating bezel, and a crown 50% larger than a traditional diver. Bracelet is folded stainless, and feels lightweight but secure. Clean crisp dial with clear indicies, and subdued chapter ring. That's the good, a workhorse weatch that lookks pretty nice, and can dance thgat thin line between work and play, and still look sllighty foreign and exotic.
The bad? New Soviet Coolllectiviist Watch Design Commisars are terrible horological innovators. The winding/setting/adjusting workks in the crown and stem are a disaster. A loose sloppy hollowed out crown that operates utterly non-intuitively for any one who has ever set a watch, with strange back and forth patterns, and special trick your watch mechanisms hidden shortcuts. And an instruction manual that is only offered in Cyrillic. Ooof. Find a translation online before attempting anything with this one, you can break it with the first turn.

1 of 1 found this helpful A new watch holder can be a nervous time for the watch owner. This impendingly crushing vice grip holder does what all the harsh hard edged metal, and the snappy plastic bits of rubbiish watch fail to do, cradle my watch without marring the case so that I can get into it. A steady base to work on the back, clevel product design that accounts for the extra pushers on a chronograph, a deep enough well to hold a larger crown, and a long enough main adjustment screw that even a 46mm case fits and can be secured.
Effective, non-destructive design that does what it is supposed to do, well and without failures. Yup, color me impressed with a simple, but really quite effective solution to my watch holdedr needs.
