Average bar with plastic filled with gravel
4 of 5 found this helpful The bar came in 3 pieces and had to be put together, probably not suited for 100kg+ coz it could break easily.
The weights are basically a plastic case filled with sand/gravel (sand for the small ones and gravel for the heavy ones).
I'm in the process of returning mine so I havent really used them, but from the looks of it they look like they could break very easily, I mean its a pastic covering, so if you want to use it you'd have to be very careful not to drop them anywhere.
Also the description was misleading eg. "The weights have a plastic casing which reduces the noise made during exercising". The weights do not just have a plastic casing, the weights ARE the plastic casing, filled with sand/gravel. if the plastic casing were to break, the sand/gravel would fall into a pile on the ground.
