Excellent shaver, better than straight razor
2 of 2 found this helpful Hair dresser industry gold standard, excellent for home use and very easy to use. The foils are incredibly delicate and thin, use with caution and almost no pressure. It requires you to have already shaved your head down as bald as possible, they don’t call it the “finale” for a joke. Do not use this with anything more than 1-2 day stubble or you’ll be there all day and have a terrible experience.
Battery life is great for a full week’s charge, I use mine for 10-15 minutes every 2 days and it says on the box that I could get 90 mins, so should be able to go a full 2 weeks without the charger.
Honestly the shaver picks up everything, it feels smooth as skin and you don’t need to worry about pimples or psoriasis or other skin conditions as the shaver glides over them without irritating. It was recommended instead of a straight razor and I completely agree, it’s easy to use and brilliant for the same finish.
Would recommend anyone who wants a shaver for the bald-head look, this has one setting and that setting is bald as an egg. If you want that look, you can’t beat it, it’s been recommended by 3 different top barbers in 3 cities independently and I bought it after hearing that all the barbers only recommend this product and this product only over Phillips and other brands.
Cons - the hair it picks up will be a powder because it cuts so fine, also any skin flakes will be picked up so you’ll need to clean the foils every 2-3 minutes for the maximum benefit, your sink will look dirty as hell and your hands will look like you’ve had charcoal over them. Expect to clean it after each morning’s use, using the included brush or you’ll have a terrible experience. I haven’t yet used oils or anything on it, had it for a month and love it to pieces.
