Great addition for a buffalo shirt
A perfect colour match and fit for my Buffalo Special 6 shirt. The hood attaches in seconds using the Velcro strip and is a snug fit. The separate face pad also attaches easily and provides a really effective cover over the mouth and nose. I’m able to wear a merino wool beanie underneath the hood without any issues.

Saved from the skip!
Having sat idle for a few years, the mixer started smoking when whisking egg whites. The resistors, capacitors and transistor seem to last about 25yrs before giving up the ghost so replacing them rather than buying a new machine was a no-brainer. Basic soldering skills needed (as well as de-soldering) but an easy fix if you’re patient. Just to note that the spring-loaded circuit board height controls the speed dial on the mixer so if you don’t get the full range of mixing speed, adjust the screws.

Almost great......but
1 of 1 found this helpful The clamp arrived damaged but I wasn’t surprised. I read numerous reviews and there is a general view that the plastic ends are fragile. The packaging is completely inadequate and doesn’t protect the end pieces. There are three plastic pieces (one of them slides and locks) but they won’t survive any kind of a drop or sharp knock. I’ve replaced the proven part with a fabricated metal piece and the clamp works well. I’m in the process of replacing both of the other pieces and should end up with a very useful tool. I suppose for the price it’s a reasonable buy but the quality nad material of the plastic components lets it down.
