The best strings I have ever purchased
1 of 1 found this helpful I have used several different types of strings over the years but never the Ernie Ball brand. I don't know why just didn't. Also I always used 10 or 11's, never did I think I would ever be happy with anything lighter. If this sounds like you and you're looking for a great set of strings this is it. Ernie Ball Coated Slinky Titanium guitar strings are nothing short of great! The strings have a really nice feel to them maybe in part due to the coating. The fullness is in the tone as well, I thought I would hear a huge difference between the 10's and the 9's but I didn't. To my ear I didn't hear that tininess that I have heard from other strings that some of the people I have worked with. Which is the reason I never tried 9's before. And one of the wonderful surprises is the fact that the 3123 Ernie Ball Coated Super Slinky's really stay in tune a lot better than any other string I have used. This maybe where the Titanium Reinforced Technology comes in and so far they have outlasted the other strings I was using by a long shot. I restrung four of my guitars with the Ernie Ball 3123 strings and have been very happy I did. Playing hard, soft or somewhere in between the Super Slinky's deliver great tone, flexibility and longevity. Great product. I will be doing my other guitars in the near future. Note that if you action is super low on the neck you may need to make an adjustment. Take care and may God bless. Jon

Fender Stratocaster
I have always played Les Paul type guitars/necks. Never did I think I would like a Fender. It's like Ford -vs- Chevy. Always been a Chevy man but Ford is looking pretty good now.
And the same goes for the Fender Stratocaster, I truly love this guitar. It is my go to guitar for just about every recording I do now. Although I do use other guitars to help with that separation of sound. The neck is a pleasure to hold and has a different feel than the Les Paul neck has. Both are great but I now favor the Fender Strat now more than I do the Les Paul. It also has a wealth of sound that can be achieved by turning the tone and volume knobs along with the 5 position switch. And I think this is where it separates itself from the rest. I don't use many effect and depend on the guitar to have the rich tones that I want. I don't think you can go wrong with any Fender product. Give one a try.

My second Fender Stratocaster
0 of 1 found this helpful This is my second Fender Stratocaster. I was so impressed with the first one I purchased that I went for another. The main difference between the two is my first one has a Humbucker pick-up and this one is all single coil. But the 3 single coil pick-ups have a rich tone and a vase number of sound setting that can be used. The five position switch gives you the choice. The neck is really nice but is different than that of a Les Paul type guitar. Both are great guitars but I now use the Fender Stratocaster most of the time. Very happy with this product. If you want a great guitar try a Fender Stratocaster for yourself. I did:)
