Super duper smooth.
3 of 3 found this helpful On it for a second it was instantly the best microphone I've ever heard my voice through I've been playing and singing since I was a child 30 years later I own one of these I'm glad to have it as one of the centerpiece microphones at my studio for vocals, acoustic to guitar and some drums. Not to mention that it is one of the two industry standard microphones that people use in the pro studios around the world. The other being the SM 7B. I think it's probably a good idea to own one of each of them but I'm not sure yet :-)
Super happy with this microphone, if you search Radiohead from the basement you'll see Thom York this microphone and it sounds completely studio quality just like the album, the amazing thing he's right up on it with no pop filter and you don't hear any of the proximity effect.
