Zu Audio Soul MK II
1 of 1 found this helpful I purchased these 99 db speakers for a 3.5 watt 2a3 tube amplifier. With my 2a3 tube amp the sound produced was nice midrange with good bass. I swapped out the amp with a PrimaLuna Prologue Three pre-amp and Prologue Four amp (35 watts) and the presentation was lively and forward with punchy bass. I was surprised how the speakers strongly reflects the amp used. Possibly the speakers change character with more power. Very good detail with no harshness in the upper frequencies. Build quality is excellent. I really like these speakers. I have another brand of highly regarded efficient 98 db speakers and I prefer the Soul MK II.
